House Trovato Estate
This home renovation project included architectural design to convert a dated seventies house with a long, narrow passage and isolated rooms, into a contemporary open plan family home. Construction included a complete overhaul of all plumbing and electrical installations, a kitchen and bathroom remodelling, new staircase, the installation of high-end finishes throughout the home, building of an additional guest bathroom and remodelling of an outside building into a home office. The garden make-over included the design and construction of a children's play area and family entertainment area.
During phase one of this home renovation, ProjectX was commissioned by Macgregor Forsyth to do all demolition and construction work within the given eight-week deadline. The scope of the project was a building that expanded over a thousand square meters and apart from demolition, the construction work included new interior walls, all new floor finishes, ceilings, bulkheads, plumbing, painting and electrical work. During phase two, ProjectX designed, managed and completed the construction of the indoor pool and lounge area.
This home renovation project was all about the details and customising the property to the client's lifestyle needs. Finishes were updated to ensure durability and easy maintenance, while the indoor-outdoor flow from bedroom spaces was improved. Innovative design and construction skillfully expanded the garage space to make room for an additional single garage and energy and water conservation solutions were designed and implemented.
